About This Trail
Thekettles are a stair-step series of broad-basin waterfalls formed by Bottom Creek. Bottom Creek has a waterfall that is 200 feet high. There are forests of mixed hardwoods Flanking Bottom Creek. There are five rare species in this habitat. The stream and waterfall may be dry in the winter. The best views of the highest waterfalls in the state of Virginia can be found in the distance.
