About This Trail
There is a gate blocking the road during the winter months. A steep two mile hike is required to reach the trailhead. It is possible to check the White Mountain National Forest road status online or by phone. One of the most popular short hikes in the White Mountains can be done in less than an hour and offers excellent views of the White Mountains. The Nature Conservancy is in New Hampshire. It is an excellent place for observing wildlife. All dogs must be on a leash on the preserve.
