About This Trail
The big break regional shoreline is part of the San Francisco/San Joaquin Delta estuary. The largest estuarine environment on the west coast can be found from the Big Break Regional Shoreline, draining half of California's Watershed and Flowing Past the San Francisco Bay. 70 species of birds are considered to be on the "Inland coast." Along with them, there are also valuable habitat for fish and mammals.
