About This Trail

Imported description
Fees are payable at certain times of the year. Go clockwise on Benedict Pond loop trail and follow it to the South Eastern end of lake and then around until you reach the Appalachian Trail. There is a sign that says The Steps on the All Trails. Continue up a short sharp ascent until you get to more level ground. Continue on a little way until you reach the Ledges. You'll know you're there by the view. The vista spans from the South to the North West. Go back to your starting point and then take an unnamed single track path North until you reach the junction with Old Beartown Mountain Road. You can pick up the Mount Wilcox trail at the pond and the lot.
