About This Trail
The balcony house is a cliff dwelling in Mesa Verde National Park. The tour is considered to be the most difficult due to the fact that visitors will have to descend a 100 foot staircase and climb a 32 ft. ladder. A tunnel and additional ladders and stone steps are needed to get out of the cliff dwelling.
