About This Trail

The streams are small and the farmland is the same as when the grandpa used to have it. There are a lot of natural Wonders as the Arabia Mountain Trail passes through 2,000 acres of protected parkland. The trail has several arched granite bridges and a wooden boardwalk. The trail's future phases are funded. A new covered bridge over Stephenson Creek is part of the proposed connecting Evans Mill Road to Murphey Candler School. There will be future phases that have not been funded and designed in which the existing trail will be connected to Stone Mountain Park, Panola Mountain State Park, and Henry County.
