About This Trail
There are plaques around the falls that tell you all about the surroundings. Smith Creek is the main stream of Anna Ruby Falls, which is formed by two streams, York Creek andCurtis Creek. The sixth-highest peak in Georgia is the location of both York andCurtis Creek. The falls are named after Anna Ruby Nichols, the daughter of an early settlers.
