Tom's Canyon Trail

Tom’s Canyon Trail is a 2.5-mile loop hiking and equestrian trail to the northeast of Kanab, Utah. The trail offers horseback riders and hikers a gentle ramble through sagebrush, dry ravines, and up a box canyon. The trail ends at a small picnic area with hitching posts. An unmaintained route continues for 0.25 miles to a scenic Weeping Rock at the base of the canyon. Tom’s Canyon Trail is open to foot and horse traffic only; bicycles and motorized vehicles are not allowed. Dogs are welcome, but their waste must be packed out. The trail is primarily clay based.
