At the Corps Tappan Lake extensive recreation facilities are operated by the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District. Visit their website at: www.mwcdlakes,com. Golden Age and Golden Access and other Federal recreation passports are not honored by MWCD. Tappan Lake is near a restored Indian village at Shoenbrunn State Park and the outdoor historical drama, "Trumpet in the Land."
