Imported descriptionB. E. Jordan Dam and Lake is located near the center of North Carolina with a large population base in a 75-mile radius of the project. It is a major attraction for recreation seekers with facilities such as campsites, picnic areas, beaches, nature trails, etc. available. The N.C. Division of Parks and Recreation operates the majority of the recreation areas. Wildlife subimpoundments for waterfowl management are leased to the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission who manage the fields to provide wildlife habitat and wildlife-oriented recreation.

B. Everett Jordan Lake is a reservoir in New Hope Valley, west of Cary and south of Durham in Chatham County, North Carolina, in the United States; the northernmost end of the lake extends into southwestern Durham County.
