Notes
The Sheltowee Trace is a long-distance National Recreation Trail extending across Kentucky and Tennessee, primarily through the Daniel Boone National Forest and the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. Named after Daniel Boone, who was given the name Sheltowee ("Big Turtle") by Shawnee leaders.
