About this unit
Central Fremont County wrapping the front of the Wind River Range east of Lander. Sage and aspen on the lower foothills climb through lodgepole to alpine tundra above 12,000 feet on the Wind River crest. Mix of Shoshone National Forest and BLM with the Popo Agie Wilderness on the high country.
