About this unit
North end of the Ruby Mountains south of Elko including the Ruby Mountains Wilderness. Steep glaciated granite peaks above 11,000 feet at Ruby Dome, alpine basins, and dramatic U-shaped canyons on Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest land.
