About this unit
North end of the Bitterroot Range west of Missoula, including the east face of the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. Steep granite ridgelines, deep timbered canyons draining east into the Bitterroot Valley, and high subalpine basins along the Montana-Idaho divide.
