About this unit
North Costilla and southeast Alamosa counties wrapping the south flank of Blanca Peak and the Sierra Blanca massif. Aspen and spruce-fir climb to alpine tundra above 13,000 feet on Blanca Peak (14,345 ft). Mix of Rio Grande National Forest and private ranch ground with Trinchera Ranch on the east.
