About this unit
East La Plata and west Hinsdale counties wrapping Vallecito Reservoir and the Pine River drainage. Aspen and spruce-fir climb to alpine tundra above 12,000 feet in the Weminuche Wilderness. Predominantly San Juan National Forest with the Weminuche Wilderness on the northern boundary.
