About this unit
West Montezuma County between Cortez and the Utah line. Pinyon-juniper and sage on broken bench country with the McElmo Creek drainage anchoring the southern boundary. Mix of BLM (Canyons of the Ancients National Monument) and significant private ranch and agricultural ground.
