Unit 7 · Bears Ears
About this unit
Western Routt County north of the Yampa, anchored by the Bears Ears peaks and the upper Slater Creek drainage. High aspen and spruce-fir benches step down into sage and oakbrush. Predominantly Routt National Forest with BLM filling the lower benches.
