East Fremont and west Pueblo counties along the Arkansas River between Cotopaxi and Texas Creek. Pinyon-juniper and oakbrush on the canyon walls grade up to ponderosa on the higher benches. Mix of BLM and San Isabel National Forest with private ground along the river.
