About this unit
Central Chaffee County around Buena Vista and the east flank of the Collegiate Peaks. Sage parks on the Arkansas River floor at 7,800 feet climb through aspen to alpine tundra above 13,000 feet on Mount Princeton, Yale, and Harvard. Predominantly San Isabel National Forest with the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness on the high country.
