West Eagle and north Garfield counties around Sheep Mountain and the lower Roaring Fork. Pinyon-juniper and oakbrush on the lower slopes grade up through aspen to spruce-fir on the higher ridges. Mix of BLM and White River National Forest with private ground along the Roaring Fork.
