About this unit
Boulder and southern Larimer foothills around Lyons and Carter Lake. Oakbrush, ponderosa, and grassland on the lower foothills with creek-bottom riparian along the St. Vrain. Significant private ground with county open space and CPW State Wildlife Areas scattered through the foothills.
