Unit 22 · Piceance Basin South
About this unit
South Rio Blanco and north Garfield counties in the lower Piceance and Roan Plateau country. Pinyon-juniper and sage benches grade up to the Roan Cliffs with aspen and Douglas-fir on the higher plateau tops. Predominantly BLM with significant energy-development infrastructure.
