About this unit
North Routt County wrapping the northern Mount Zirkel Wilderness and the headwaters of the Elk River. High spruce-fir basins, glacial lakes, and aspen-fringed parks at 8,000 to 12,180 feet on the Continental Divide. Predominantly Routt National Forest with the Mount Zirkel Wilderness running the spine.
