Windy Point Park

Family owned and operated for over 40 years. Primitive camping and no-hookup sites for RV's. We accept no reservations as there are no reserved sites, but in 40 years, we have never been "full". We offer waterfront access to Lake Travis with 1,200 feet of shoreline, and scuba diving is a major pastime here as well with an underwater park so bring a mask and snorkel (we're the 1 dive site in Texas)! 25 minutes from downtown (used to be 17 minutes, but the city grew). btw … We're not the government, so you can openly consume your adult beverages of choice responsibly … also, since our insurance won't allow them, (and as we are a barefoot-friendly locale), dogs are not allowed (putting them in the same category as glass containers, fishing, and fireworks) ... sorry Fido!!!
