About
The community of Crane Lake is 27 miles northeast of where the trailhead is located. Keep left in Crane Lake, and watch for the office of the park. The park service office on the left is where the trail parking is. The trail is graveled between Crane Lake to the Vermilion River Gorge. It was said that boardwalks cross wet areas. The trail branches to the left near the crest of the first hill. You should stay on the gravel trail.
