The Colorado River canyon and the surrounding red rock cliffs, mesas and spires can be seen from the Upper Onion Creek Campground. Individual sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Upper Onion Creek Group Sites A and B are available for reservation. There is a four-wheel drive road that can be accessed from 0.7 miles off of State Route 128.
