About
It is only open for day use during the winter season. The driving up through the winding roads is amazing. The popular mountain village of Helen is less than an hour away. The city of Helen has a lot of things to do for tourists. If you enter the campground area, please keep an eye out for the interpretive information about the river's impact on users in Florida and Georgia.
