The Trinity Unit is one of three units that make up the Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area. It was established by Congress. These areas are recognized for their varied recreation potential. The Trinity Unit and Trinity Lake Boating Safety maps are free of charge in our offices. If you want to learn more about obtaining the Shasta-Trinity National Forest map and other National Forest maps, please visit the Maps & Brochures page. Water oriented sports such as fishing, water-skiing and houseboating are popular in the Trinity Unit. There are many other activities for the adventurous.
