The summit of Mt. Battie located at Camden Hills State Park is known for its breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean, and the Park's extensive network of trails is suitable for all ages and experience levels. Nearby Camden, Rockport, and Rockland are home to phenomenal local restaurants, retail shops, galleries, and art museums. Insider tip: Take a harbor cruise to learn more about the area while taking in the beautiful scenery from the water. Harbor cruises, whale and puffin watches are available daily. The Space: A secluded campsite with access to 30 miles of hiking trails! Interaction with Guests: Enhance your outdoor experience with a little help from your friendly Maine State Park staff.
