About

Located on the west side of the Chiricahuas, the campground has small waterfalls and a rocky cleft that is decorated with wildflowers. A place near the end of Turkey Creek Road is where people jump off into the Chiricahua Wilderness. Some of the trails start near the campground and take you to destinations in the mountains. It is an excellent base of operations if you are a hiker or an equestrian, there is plenty of trail miles to keep you busy. The bears are in the area.
