About
There are mounds built to defense against the Union Navy gunboats. Sunwannee River Campground is an interesting place to visit. It is said that there is a steamship and two ghost towns in the sandhill wilderness. It is a great reward to explore the park on foot or canoe. There are some campsites that can be accessed. The campground have an accessible restroom that's accessible. They are welcome, but must be monitored by their owner.
