About

Steel Creek Group Campground is 35 miles northeast of the town of Dubois, Idaho, and 9 miles northwest of Kilgore. Visitors come to the area to enjoy the trails, wildlife viewing and scenic beauty. The area has a lot of popular activities. The campground has one large group site that can accommodate up to 200 people. There is a parking area next to the dining area. A grill, a campfire circle, vault toilets and drinking water are provided. The campground is located among willow and pine trees and has a beautiful view of the mountains. There is a variety of wildlife around the campground. In Idaho, gas, groceries, and phones are available. There are very few services available in Kilgore, Idaho.
