Double R Guest Ranch is once the ancestral home of the Apache and has a rich cowboy and cattle ranching history. The sound of horses hooves, the crackle of a campfire, and the creak of a leather saddle are all things you can expect at the ranch. The high desert vegetation in southern Arizona has old growth mesquite forests and a variety of cacti. The ranch is surrounded by mountains.
