This trail starts and ends at a trail head. After the Summit Trail begins, it goes to the south to the Wickersham Creek Trail. A forest saddle and overlook are where the trail leads for one mile to an overlook. The section of the Summit and Wickersham Creek trail that's between the trails is not recommended in the summer for travel. A quote: This trail is non-motorized.
