Sims Flat Campground

It is on the side of the river and is at an elevation of 1500 feet. At many of the sites, there are fire rings. It can be appropriate for tents or mid-situated RV or trailer. It says there is toilets and piped water. It is a restriction of 14 days. The cost is fifteen dollars per night. No reservations have been made. It usually opens before the last Saturday in April and closes after the last weekend in November. It is claimed the camp was in the 1930's. The bridge is shown on signs. It is famous to catch a fish on a stream. There are trains that pass through the canyon. The high water of the spring makes it popular with boaters.
