Silk Purse Farm

Come spend the night in a 17 acre horse pasture ! Be visited by horses, ponies and a very friendly donkey named Rico. All are sweet and respectful. Enjoy interacting with goats, sheep, chickens , ducks and pigs. Even milk a goat season pending. We are a working family farm owned and ran by two Army veterans who enjoy sharing the “farm life “ and the homestead way of life. We give classes and teach animal care for those who are aspiring to a country type of living. We also offer classes in bread making, cheese making, sewing, spinning wool on a spinning wheel and preparing the wool for use on the wheel, canning, knitting, crochet and horseback riding !
