Salt Creek Recreation Area County Park has national park looks. The park has an upland forest, rocky bluffs, rocky tide pools, sand beach, Salt Creek access, campsites, and a panoramic view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. One of Clallam County's premier parks is Salt Creek, which is a regional park that draws visitors from all over the northwest. Many colleges and schools from all over the country visit the Park to observe the marine life. It is a year round campground. The Strait of Juan de Fuca has 92 premium campsites, two of which are camp host sites. The majority of the campsites have a view of the water.
