About
The campground is located in a lodgepole pine forest. The sites are first come, first serve. The Casino Creek trail leads to the Casino Lakes and the White Cloud Mountains. This is an excellent area for hiking. It is possible to maintain stream bank integrity sites from May through September. The sites are open from mid-May to August 15. The Salmon River campground is one of four campgrounds in the general area that are sought after for their excellent fishing.
