About
Red Creek Campground is a small campground that is located on top of the Allegheny Plateau. The climate and plant life here are similar to Northern Canada. Dolly Sods Wilderness is a wilderness that offers a unique hiking opportunity for those looking for adventure. This area has unique scenery and unusual plant communities. The area is highlighted by flowers from May through June. It is popular during the month of July. Bird banding is done in late summer and fall. It is located approximately 20 miles northwest from Petersburg, West Virginia and 24 miles north of Seneca Rocks.
