About
In western Iowa is preparation canyon state park which is divided into a total of 694 acres which contains the town of preparation. The camp in one of the 10 hikes in the state is one of only a few hike-in sites with beautiful views of the Loess Hills. It is found at the southeast corner of the park. It seems the sites have a fire ring but no bathroom facilities. When registering, go to the parking lot that's on the east side.
