Prancing Deer Farm

Come pitch your tent(s) or bring your camper/RV/van to the private, scenic farmette known as Prancing Deer. Enjoy herds of up to 25 deer at dawn and twilight, as well as foxes, eagles, turtles, frogs, fireflies, egrets, and an assortment of colorful birds. Located in Warwick, Maryland, the farm is about 10 minutes away from Middletown, Delaware where you can find shopping, dining, and events. Also the farm is a short driving distance to the Bohemia River and the Chesapeake Bay. A stay at Prancing Deer is ideal for people looking for a tranquil experience with little to no amenities, although we do have an electricity hook-up available (20 amp, 30 amp, 50 amp available). With 7.5 acres, you will have total privacy from the outside world. Please note: The woods and adjacent properties are privately owned. Please do not trespass - stay within the field. If you use the light at the electricity station, please make sure it is turned off before you leave. This is an active feed grass field and a fire could put the crop in jeopardy.
