About
The small town of Haines is located in the north end of Alaska's southeast Panhandle. You can reach the town by road and ferry. Theage Cove State Recreational site is located on the shoreline near downtown Haines and offers a wonderful view of the Chilkoot Inlet and surrounding mountains. There are a few campsites, but only for bicycle or walk-in camping.
