It is Recommended for experienced Grand Canyon hikers. The trails were not maintained. It said that the water sources were so bad that they were scarred. There are unpaved roads to hiking trails. It can be translated as "pit toilets." Horses and mules are allowed on the designated roads and trails only, with a permit only on the Whitmore Trail.
