Southwest of Denver at an elevation of 7,400 feet, Meadows Group Campground offers a wonderful opportunity for groups to enjoy the great outdoors. In the Buffalo Creek Recreation Area there are multiuse, nonmotorized trails nearby. Fishing in also possible in the area.The campground is located behind a closed USFS gate. A valid reservation is needed to access the campground. The host is located down the road at the Buffalo Campground.Dates of operation are posted on Recreation.gov. Visitors may expect full service from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. The area also has an extended season when services such as water, trash or a host may not be available in the fall or spring.
