The horse corrals were once used as a family camp and a horse camp. The family campsites are shaded and have nice surroundings. The Summit Trail begins here and goes south into the South Warner Wilderness. If you plan to use a camp or backpack stove or a campfire outside the developed campground, you will need a current California Campfire Permit.
