About
At the base of the Sierra foothills, there are opportunities for hiking, biking, running, camping, picnicking, horseback riding and water-skiing. The Folsom Powerhouse was once the greatest electrical plant on the American continent and produced 11,000 volts of electricity for the residents of Sacramento. There is a bicycle path that connects the lake with the county parks. Lake Natoma is downstream from the popular Folsom Lake and is popular for crew races, sailing, kayaking and other aquatic sports.
