Peaceful Pond Retreat

Enjoy the sounds of nature swaying pond side on a hammock or enjoying cocktails in a lounge chair. Tucked away in the pines, but just 10 minutes to a grocery store this camper turned cottage is sure to give you a mental and physical recharge. We look forward to your stay! Surrounded by Local Wineries and Hiking Trails 30 minutes from the beautiful blue waters of the Yuba River and Nevada City a cute mining town full of shopping, food and nightlife 1 hour 30 minutes from Tahoe The space Quiet and relaxing with minimal noise and light pollution make this spot perfect for a get away. Vast open skies offer exquisite star gazing. The year round pond and creek are rare gems here in the sierras. Inside the camper has been remodeled with updated paint and furniture. A brand new queen bed, pull out couch and air mattresses available on request make this the perfect spot for a gathering of friends, family or even a romantic sanctuary. Need some extra room for more guests? Contact me about camping options. I am happy to have a large 2 room tent set up with bed(s) and linens for your stay or direct you where to set up a tent of your own! Currently no wifi available, but HDMI to C/lighting cable for streaming to TV or Projector directly from your phone or tablet. Good cell reception though I do recommend downloading when possible to avoid any potential glitches or buffering. You can even enjoy a movie night under the stars with the portable projector and screen. There is a fairly extensive DVD collection as well! Don't want to drive to the river? (though I HIGHLY recommend that you do at least once) Ask me about some swimming spots just a 5 minute walk from the property. Guest access Guests will have access to the camper as well as a large outdoor area that includes a pond, rock outcropping with firepit (select seasons only), 2 hammocks, 3 different outdoor eating areas and a shaded patio just outside the camper. Other things to note Traveling with a furry friend? I have 3 of my own and know how important it is they join me on adventures. Unless previously discussed please keep pets contained or on leash during your stay. There is a large fenced area perfect for pups just 30 feet from the bnb. Though it is enclosed please supervise your pet at all times as a half decent escape artist will certainly find a way out. Scoopers and trash cans provided to easily clean up after your pet.
