About

The northern part of the Long Cane Ranger District is home to the Parson's Mountain Recreation Area. It has a lake next to a campground. The area has easy access to a variety of recreation activities. The picnic area is accessible. The day use area was designed with a pier, a bridge and a boat ramp. The upstate has a rich history and diverse wildlife habitat.
