Visitors to Oleta River State Park find it hard to believe that it is 30 minutes from downtown Miami. The largest city park in Florida is just over 1000 acres and has a lot of things to do. It's a good idea to enjoy a picnic along scenic Biscayne Bay, or to relax at the end of a fishing pole. The park is a good place to stop for long-distance paddlers.
